Rotary Scrubber is the public product name for the XSJ/RXT drum washing and scrubbing machine family.
It is selected for high-clay, muddy and large-lump material that needs strong rubbing and washing before downstream sand washing, fine sand recovery or wastewater treatment.

Use rotary scrubber-style washing when raw stone is wrapped with clay or needs strong desliming.
XSJ drum stone washer
Strong washing and desliming equipment for clay-wrapped stone, weathered material and coarse aggregate before fine sand recovery.
Choose when
- Raw material mud content is high, around 15%-35%, with clay lumps or mud wrapped around stone.
- Feed size can include coarse stone, commonly up to about 150 mm, and needs strong scrubbing.
- Construction waste recycled aggregate or run-of-mine material needs pretreatment and desliming.
- Washed coarse stone needs separation while fine sand slurry continues to recovery equipment.
- The project has a strict target for low mud content after washing.
Not suitable when
- Raw material is already clean and only has light floating mud; the machine may consume too much water.
- The line only processes 0-5 mm pure fine sand with no coarse stone.

Limits
Operating limits
- Low-mud fine sand washing is usually more economical with XS wheel sand washer.
- Pure fine sand without large lumps is usually better matched with LSX / 2LSX spiral sand washer.
- WLGSX trommel screen is used for pre-screening only and does not replace rotary scrubbing.

- XS wheel sand washer: low-mud fine sand washing, low fine-sand loss direction and small to medium capacity.
- LSX / 2LSX spiral sand washer: medium-mud deep washing for sand and aggregate, with stronger washing than wheel washer.
- RXT / XSJ rotary scrubber: high-clay large-lump material scrubbing, washing and screening in one drum, suitable for weathered stone and mining duty.
